About Mr. Smith
2008-09 represents my 10th year (11th overall, after a year of service at Eastern York Middle School) at Red Lion Area Senior High School. I have taught Political Science, Economics, American Cultures (all before our curriculum revision in 2003-04), American Government & Economic Systems, and AP US Government & Politics. (the latter 2 currently) I have coached both track & field and football while here and currently coach varsity football, defensive line and special teams coordinator.My education began here at Red Lion, graduating in 1994. I then furthered my education at West Chester University, receiving my undergraduate degree in education in 1998.I have a Master’s degree in education from Wilkes University and have nearly completed the requirements for principal certification.Outside of school, I enjoy all sports, especially golf and spend as much time as I can with my wife and four-year old son, Owen. My office hours for students are days 1, 2, & 3 in room A202 during the first 20-minutes of the period 5.
